Adaptive Music Lab
The Adaptive Music Lab at Rehabilitative Rhythms is a first of it’s kind innovative program in Colorado offering consultative adaptive music equipment/tech services to individuals with disabilities that prevent them from fully engaging in traditional music making and instrument playing
The music therapy team at Rehabilitative Rhythms has been building our knowledge of adaptive musical equipment and technology over the past several years and this lab allows individuals and their families to use and trial various adaptive equipment and technology options and identify the one(s) that best meets their unique needs.
Our goal is to help individuals and families get set up with tools that can be used to make music out in their school and community-based environments.
We work with individuals with both neurological (stroke, spinal cord and brain injury, Parkinson’s, MS, etc.) and developmental disabilities (cerebral palsy, autism, Down’s syndrome, William’s syndrome, etc.) who may be struggling to engage in music as a return to a previous leisure activity, in school-based settings, or other community settings.
