We’re in This Together

At Rehabilitative Rhythms, group therapy is about much more than bringing together our patients for a shared treatment experience; we offer group therapy targeted at certain groups of people because research shows that it’s the best option for their particular goals. In combination with Rehabilitative Rhythms Individual Therapy, we have the ideal plan.

We celebrate all of the nuances and strengths of individuals with Autism, Alzheimer’s and dementia, Strokes, Developmental disabilities, Parkinson’s Disease, and Traumatic Brain Injury – and by paying attention to their needs we’ve developed group and interventions not offered by other practices.

Aphasia Choir

Our choir is an opportunity to use your strengths and engage with others who share your struggles in a judgement-free space. You’ll have every tool you need to make progress – from breathing and voicing exercises, to your favorite music – and a circle of supporters next to you as you more toward your goals.

Social Groups

If your child struggles with social communication or making friends, our music therapy groups will offer them a safe, natural opportunity to engage with other children and make progress while having fun. We hand-match group members and customize music and singing activities activities to ensure we address each participant’s areas of focus ,and to help families and kids a form lasting relationships with peers!

“My son has tried therapies such as Acupuncture, horseback riding, and ABA, but music therapy fosters his creativity, self esteem, learning different topics, focus, self regulation, and more. Music is part of who he is.”

Your life as a parent can sometimes feel like a laundry list of tasks—feeding, wiping, cleaning, bathing—with periodic breaks to grab a fistful of snack crackers and wipe the spit-up off your shirt. You could probably be more organized. Or devote yourself to decluttering. But in our view, what you really need is some fun!

Children of all ages—babies, toddlers and preschoolers—discover their inner music-maker by playing with the grownups they love. Music Together is an early childhood music and movement program that supports early childhood development. Our classes are  a playful, rich, and engaging chance for you and your child to get in touch with your  inner musician and connect with other families.

Our Experience

Everyone at Rehabilitative Rhythms believes that individuals with neurologic and developmental differences add value to our society, and we strive to makes their lives better. That means providing high-quality music therapy services and staying actively involved in research to ensure what we are doing truly is the best in our industry.

We are the only music therapy practice in Colorado that focuses on exclusively neurologic and developmental differences – we’re also the only practice that offers clients options like social groups and community groups.
